PAPYRUS really appreciates all our supporters and the new and exciting ways they fundraise for us. One set of fundraisers that have managed to amaze us with their fundraising is Salt Ayre Cog Set.

Salt Ayre Cog Set is an accredited Go-Ride cycling club for 6-18 year olds based in Lancaster with almost 200 active members.

One of their members, Kyle Lewis sadly died by suicide aged 16 in 2016.  Kyle’s family and friends, Dallam school, and his cycle club have together raised over £31,000 for PAPYRUS in memory of Kyle through a school HOPEWALK and a 24 hour cycle ride at the Club in his memory over the last few years..

The Club has now created a senior team of cyclists known as the PAPYRUS Cog Set Team and instead of having a corporate sponsor on their kit have opted for the PAPYRUS logo.

The team is doing incredibly well and are helping spread the PAPYRUS message far and wide around the country.

Below is a selection of photos from the team in action. How amazing does their kit look!

PAPYRUS is absolutely blown away with the incredible fundraising efforts by Cog Set.

Thank you so much for your support!

I am also blown away by the amazing support Cog Set have given to PAPYRUS. Thank you for keeping Kyle’s memory alive and for raising awareness of suicide prevention in young people. What a fabulous team of people you are.

Hi Alex. Thank you so much for your comment! How great are these kits?! Our wonderful supporters Cog Set Cycling Club had these made specially for their activities. We can provide you with logo’s if you would like to get your own made! Many thanks.
